Formerly, as Director - of Venture Capital Initiatives for Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), Mahendra led the legislation for two Fund-of-Fund programs. Mahendra is the author of two books - The Business of Venture Capital and The Resilient Founder and co-author of Startup Boards with Brad Feld and Matt Blumberg. 

His articles have been published in Forbes, MIT Technology Review, Thomson Reuters, and Huffington Post. His educational background includes a B. Engg. (Electronics) and MBA (Finance & Marketing) from the University of Pune, India.
